With the couple of injuries we have had, we need to settle on a side now & let that side play several games without being tweaked.

    Roberto
    Fredericks - Balbuena - Diop - Masuaku
    Noble - Rice
    Yarmolenko - Fornals - Anderson
    Haller

Martin, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Wilshere, Snodgrass, Antonio, Ajeti

We are basically forced to play that side now, with the option of Lanzini gone. Once Antonio returns to full fitness, I would consider playing him instead of Fornals, a bit like what we did last season & it was very effective.

Pelle must be tempted to start him today, after the issues he caused Spurs in the away game last season.

Think this will be a draw today. Jose will take a lot of the limelight, but it was only a few months ago that people were claiming this guy was past it. His time at Spurs will categorically tell us if he has lost his sparkle for good.
  • Just off to the game. I feel strangely calm and serene.
  • Mourinho has so far always won his first game.
  • A clear case of P.T.S.D. :hmm:

    # Pre Tottenham Stress Disorder :run:
  • Mourinho has so far always won his first game.

That needs to change pretty soon then

    Come on, thorn.

Find a positive stat for us before KO!!
  • Ogbonna must start today instead of Balbuena.

Fornals has been awful, I wouldn't pick him over Snodgrass and Oggy should replace Balbuena.

His first game with Real Madrid was 0-0 draw away at Mallorca
  • Am leaving now.
    COYI
  • We must smash them.
  • Two changes to the side according to Ex.

    Please let one be Masuaku.

The other? Maybe Yarmolenko in? Or Og??

Heads up to anyone going to the match, the Central Line is suspended between Liverpool Street and Leytonstone eastbound cos some muppet pushed a buggy in front of a train at Mile End, it went under, stripped off a load of conductor shoes and now the train has no power.

The ERU are going to get underneath, pull the buggy out and then they'll have to get another train to push it to Hainault depot. Its going to be a while...

    Severe delays westbound

Just read that westbound trains are terminating at Leytonstone

Update. service resumed so not as bad as first appeared.
  • Team is:

    Roberto
    Fredericks - Diop - Ogbonna - Cresswell
    Noble - Rice - Snodgrass
    Yarmolenko - Anderson
    Haller
  • You had me at Roberto
  • Not sure what Mas has done to not get in this 18 given the form we are showing

Not sure lukerz but imo it’s either injury or attitude
  • Just off to the game. I feel strangely calm and serene.

I’m just about to climb behind the sofa myself.

  • Aslef I meant in thePL
  • Just about to hide under the bed

    It’s a bit tight
    Lucky am not fat

Pity Pelle wasn’t asked directly at the presser because there has been complete silence on the subject for a month now
  • Thorn - Lukerz asked for a positive stat, I found one.
  • Pelle out...…...wanted to get ahead of all the posts in a couple of hours ...
  • What a fantastic Anderson hat trick! Doing the same, Steve.
  •
  • To be fair, I didn’t specify what type of hat trick. Could be 3 goals; could be him flipping a hat in the air and catching it on his head!
  • Snoddy talking to Haller although from the look on Haller's face I'm not sure he understands Glaswegian...
  • 8 minutes in "moans and groans from the crowd"

27 minutes in "Chants of you don't know what your doing"

Half time whistle "Collective Boo's around the stadium"

58 minutes in "Angry shouting from the stands and 'you're not fit to wear the shirt'"

71 minutes in "Streaker runs onto the pitch"

78 minutes in "is there a fire drill followed by you're getting sacked in the morning from the away support"

82 minutes in "most of the stadium is empty"

Full time whistle "whats left of the support Boo loudly"

    for those following
  • Glen Twaddle on co-coms.

I suspect I’ll be loosing my temper very shortly.
