If true, this is one big decision to make for both the club and the player. I am pretty sure that would be the highest transfer fee ever paid for a 29 year old.

No. There was a tweet earlier mentioning the £60m bid which ExWHU said he would look into and later posted that it was false. ;ok

Yeah. Somebody tweeted asking whether he could confirm the £60m bid for Payet and he replied "I will".

I took that to mean that there has been a bid and that he will confirm it in detail in his transfer roundup. I think what he meant was IF there was ever a bid for Payet, he would confirm it.
