    ...and I was grumbling about a bad choice of captain. 3pts doesnt seem as bad now as it couldve. I made sure I got rid of Aubameyang so that was one missed pen I actually avoided

    I feel your pain and I have tried to just mentally work through it. I was leading in all leagues. No luck or judgment in many recent GWs sees me down to 3rd in the winner takes all, to TENTH!!! in the H2H and a a chunk behind you in the Cheap. The only league im cruising is the draft ( because I can make as many TFs as I want every week - 105 so far hahaha!!)

    Im relatively speaking still in contention on everything so, despite the disappointments, Im trying to keep things in perspective ;puzzled ;thumbsup

    mines been going on for several GWs. I'm doing the opposite of normal (usually struggle in first half of season then take about 60 TFs to get a reasonably settled squad to finish strongly in the second half).

    In the last 10 GWs I've got a red down arrow 8/10 times. Last 3 GWs 3.3M, 3.4M and 5.3M in weekly standings!!!

    Ironically in recent weeks I've really liked my squad ;lol

    My defence hasnt been up to it despite (what I thought) was well planned GW strategy (perieras poor scores, Wolves inconsistency against poor teams, people rested, TAA injured etc). I resisted the urge to pack it with Van Dijk, Robertson Laporte etc which has backfired impressiely. I've used my money further forward and Auba encapsulates recent struggles. If I had been patient and kept him another week I think I'd have gone in to meltdown over here ;wahoo

    recent good judgement continues... Took captaincy off Sterling at the last moment as I was worried he'd be rotated. So I chose safe option Aguero instead : ;doh Also thought I brought Fraser into my cheap team but only did it in the main one ;doh again

    At least Aguero got us some points (he's my C in the main team), unlike B.Silva who signally failed to justify my awarding him the honour of the armband in my cheap team ;doh

    Yes, equal points mean player with higher over all score will be placed first.

    I think I won my first head to head in many weeks. Its actually really tight in the head to head (even I, in 10th, are only three wins from top) like the battle between Liverpool and City! ;wahoo

    Now there are DGWs aplenty!!! Wishing I had a wildcard or free hit (just like I wished the same thing last season and vowed not to use them too soon ;lol )

    A tricky thing to navigate though... You put 'em in and then pray that Pep n co dont rotate so that Sterling type player you've bought in and triple captained only plays 1 game and gets taken off after 62 minutes scoring deux point for you ;weep ;wahoo ;doh ;yercoat
