His agent said: “He has a great contract with West Ham so I cannot see him leaving. Dimitri is happy in London....”

    ;wahoo

but “.... you never know in football but only West Ham know what price they want if they decide to sell him.”

    ;puzzled
  • think the owners would cave in for anything around 50m
  • Yep 50m would test them, 40m profit in a year

60m and they'd be in a right state

    But it won't happen
  • #bienvenidodimi
  • We ought to make our 3rd kit blue with red socks just to please Payet.
  • David's if those big clubs come a calling just remember the words of Zammo Mguire.....

    Just say NO!

    Real Madrid
    Can we buy Dimi? No
    Here is 50m ? No

    Dimi
Can I play for Real ? No
Please can I go ? No
I will sulk? No you wont, you are 30 and in a years time they wont want you if you sulk.
Why Not? Because you signed a contract and if you became rubbish or got injured you would still accept your wages, so as your are brilliant we want you to play for us.

Now put your West Ham shirt on.

  • Zammo ;lol
  • ;quaver
    Payet's on fire

  • Still not happening and you'd better get those fingers ready I got plasters for the possible blisters
  • More chance of Carroll getting through pre-season...
  • Ha ha he's doing aright so far

    As a quarter back....
  • Inter Milan are considering a £38m offer for West Ham's Dimitri Payet.
  • 38m? You're 'avin' a larf
  • Ho davvero non pensano di capire
  • Isn't that the same as the offer we've already turned down from China ;hmm
  • There are many 1st teamers whose national currency is the euro. If their salaries were negotiated in euros, the Daves will have to cough up a significant %age increase in pounds. Would that unsettle those players whose contracts are in pounds? Of course this is all speculation, but still needs consideration

  • I would be very surprised if any of our players had contracts agreed in anything other than GBP

  • BILIC: PAYET OUR PLAYER

Dimitri Payet has certainly caught the eye this summer with his performances for France at Euro 2016.

There has even been speculation that Barcelona are interested in luring him away from West Ham.

However, Hammers boss Slaven Bilic told the Daily Mail: "I would love him to stay at West Ham. We have texted each other over the last three weeks and he is happy at the club. He is our player.

"As a club manager, when you have a player involved there is added interest and there is no doubt Dimitri Payet has been one of the stars of the tournament. I understand that with his success, all the speculation about his future will follow.

"I have even seen one report suggesting I don’t want him to do well in case it leads to him leaving West Ham. That is not right. I want him to play great. I want him to score a hat-trick and another hat-trick in the final."

Whenever I've worked abroad the contract fee was ALWAYS in local currency.
  • When their salaries were negotiated, it's only natural that they would have calculated how much those salaries were worth in euros. Now that the salaries are worth considerably less euros, will they ask for an increase? ;hmm
