    That’s not what I said and not what happened. Gibbs-White didn’t play it because Soucek headed it away first.

    If Soucek had headed it away and behind him a defender and attacker clashed heads both going for the ball, rather than a goalkeeper punching and an attacker, do you think that’s a penalty?

    I don’t, and there shouldn’t be any difference IMO.

    We have had Paqueta wrestling a man to the floor whilst looking away from the ball, Kilman diving in and now Areola taking a guys head off. I think it's partly to do with our nerves when defending at present.

    I've just seen the highlights on BBC and the "foul" by Pablo on Williams was a really brief touch on his arm but Williams goes down like he's been shot. If anything, Williams should have been booked for simulation
    Compare that to the actual foul on Summerville that the ref and VAR ignored.

    It's almost like there's a conspiracy to send us down. >:)

    Fulham have tonight beaten Chelsea having just drawn with Liverpool and Brighton have drawn at Man City. Bournemouth have beaten Spurs. Maybe our results against them weren’t as poor as we think.
    The Wolves debacle speaks for itself.

    I agree about the consistency but can you see any reason Pablo has just tugged his arm for? surely he wasn't offering up a professional foul intentionally in that situation so it looks like him being unaware that a foul would be given. He just grabs him for no reason and the goal came from that. really stupid of him in that area.
