  • Personally I still sack Nuno - it’s not his fault but it’s not changing

We are not playing with purpose - I know the two strikers are brand new but it smacks of let’s put them on and see what happens, do we know how to play to their strengths etc etc.

We are not creating anywhere nearly enough and are so vulnerable when defending set pieces - it is a losing combination

I think we can consider ourselves desperately unlucky with the disallowed goal, one it came off a defender and there were at two phases of play before Summerville put it in the net - but like I said earlier - we are not where we are because of this game

All over, as is our season, and as is our stay in the PL come May..

It’s crazy that Nuno can be a defensive manager, and hasn’t been able to deliver a single clean sheet. And we score less than we did under Potter.

    Yeah this is sick
  • We deserved to lose - Forest were by far the better & more accomplished side

The rest of this season will be a waste of time & us going through the motions so let’s start planning now for next season, start by getting rid of Nuno
  • Let’s see what garbage Nuno and Bowen come out with tonight if Nuno is still here tonight.

Why? He’d be one of the best managers available to get us promoted

I mostly agree, but we also saw last season that Potter coasting to the end of the season meant he began with absolutely no good will or patience in the bank. Bringing in someone new to walk to relegation doesn't necessarily help for next season.

    That said, bring Bilic home.

7 points adrift and Nuno has done worse than any previous PL manager we've had, points wise, IMO he has to go....Although I don't think he will be sacked....& IMO a definite penalty...Get in Bilic all day long for me...
  • He has to be sacked, stadium half empty, 1/12 from Fulham, Brighton, Wolves, Forest, 2 wins in 16, no win in 10, & not too mention that horrendous loss to Wolves

It won’t save us, but he HAS to be sacked - his record in 16 games is unacceptable for any club, at any level
  • We can give penalties away for fun but can’t get anywhere near an attacker when they’ve got a scoring opportunity in open play.
  • Yeah, I agree, he absolutely has to go. I’m just saying that there’s no guarantee that bringing in a manager now helps to prepare for next season, if that manager just also continues to lose all season - which they might, because our team is terrible.

    Amorin is available 😁
  • I need to find a new sport to follow until August. I can’t watch this dross in my spare time
  • I didn't see a team that was sent out with an instruction to play with any real kind of urgency, a mission to put right the shambles from Saturday right. I honestly don't see the point in throwing any more money at it as I regrettably don't see it making any difference to our extremely slim chances of staying up.
  • Two very poor goals conceded. Our passing was not very sharp or incisive. Summerville's goal should have stood. The ball came off a Forest player but when your luck is out. The home jinx continues. Players must feel miserable. Need 9 wins from the remaining 17 games, a herculean task without someone like Tavcez. Anyone got Moyes' phone number?

Yeah, going 1-0 up after 10 mins at home sets you off for what should be 3 points, build on it & get another goal or two - we can’t have had a better start

This side doesn’t have it in them, it’s not on the front foot enough
  • We make basic mistakes every game - Todibo missing a simple clearing header before they got the corner to equalise, Areola flapping at another cross - it’s not changing
  • Bilic. Get him in.

It would make me happy just watching him care about what is happening on the pitch.
  • I don’t think we showed enough, I was expecting more given what happened Saturday, we were ok but I was expecting far more
  • There is a difference between a natural collision in the box & a keeper punching a player in the face - had Areola just collided with him, it would not have been given - but the flap/punch on his face was always going to result in a penalty
  • It was both hands into his face. How on earth could that have been ignored. He doesn’t get anywhere near the cross as with almost every cross.
  • Did anyone notice anything that Paqueta did?

Don’t think he was 100% fit, but he was no worse than the others IMO
  • Both the Wolves penalty and tonight’s were straight down the middle with Areola going to his right. Did Gibbs-White watch the Wolves one and know that’s where Areola is going to go.

Why play players who are not fully fit? We had Earthy and Rodriguez on the bench.

Just my opinion, he might have been ?! But he was taken off around the 60 minute mark…
  • I can’t be bothered to get angry like I was on Saturday, I’m at the acceptance stage for relegation, been on the cards since Rice left so kind of a relief.

I’ll miss Bowen but it’ll be nice to be able to celebrate a goal without someone in a box miles away ruling it out 5 minutes later, or having to hear about Liverpool or Man Utd despite neither playing. Hopefully tickets will be cheaper too 🧘🏻‍♂️
  • A lot of talk about Areola and it was a ludicrous challenge but the real issue is the free kick that Pablo gave away for nothing on the edge of the area that led to the goal. he placed his hands around the guy, it wasn't even a challenge, it was just giving away a very dangerous free kick for nothing.

It feels like we are going down this year as we can't defend and just have a side which is not up to Premier league standards so we won't be going down through bad luck.

I didn't see it as a punch in the face, more like the follow through of his attempted clearance, and it's not as if Areola prevented Gibbs-White from heading the ball as Soucek had already headed it over him.

The worse thing is the number of fouls against us in both the Wolves game and this that were not given, yet the opposition were getting them awarded left, right and centre.
