If Spurs had their first choice defence playing then I think they'd be the only team who had a chance of standing toe to toe with City. I believe Spurs will score ( despite me not TFing Kane out) with Mangala at the back. But without Sanchez and Alderweireld at the back, whoever plays up top for City will outscore them.

I like Trippier but he's too expensive for a defender who is rotated. So Jones, IMO, is a good swap. However, Sterling will be rested and Alli will score ;lol ;run

Think I might use my free transfer on moving David Silva out for Sterling still have some money in the bank. Was going to trade Elliot out for Adrian but since Elliot is playing again I think I will use the spare cash for Sterling. Then I think I will pitch my bench boost this week as I see a high chance of decent points from the bench.

Will have to wait till after the League Cup games though. Just in case of any injuries.


Big games for Newcastle vs West Ham / Swansea vs Crystal Palace / Brighton vs Watford / Burnley vs Spurs. Where my subs all have a reasonable chance to score some points.

Out of the Cup in the third round, second year running. Shed loads of points on my bench are of no use against a Liverpool fan who had Salah, Firmino and Coutinho in a week when they were on fire.

out of the cup because i didnt captain Kane and the other guy did. If he hadnt captained Kane and i had Captained anyone else other than Sane i would have beaten this guy, its so sad.

Think I have scraped through into the next round, my opponent,s captain did not play so his vice captain doubled points and got 28, think I nicked it by a point.

Felt brave and appointed Arnie as my captain ;phew

I beat a scouser fan from Trinidad. gave him an 8 point lead but I scored 87 to his 41. Bragging over straight away though as I admit with the run of games in proximity starting, I am scared my players like Firmino, Sterling, Salah, Hazard will be rested either next game or the game after. So those next two cup rounds will be crucial and maybe just be a case of who's luckier with the rested contingent. Gf lost out after captaining Sane. She was waiting for 0.1 to sign Sterling (who was my captain) during the week but as soon as she got the extra money Choupo Moting lost 0.1. So she transfered him out for Silva and the 13 points Choupo scored ended up being crucial. That'll teach her for copying my gung ho transfer policies ;whistle
