    76 points with 22 worth of points on my bench (Hart, Tomkins & Walker) whilst my captain got me only 4 points, my vice was Mane.

    Happy but can't help but feel like England in the semis of the WC.

    Gina had 33 points on the bench (just for the 3 outfield players). Not that I mentioned it of course.

    I had 24 for my three outfield benchers. In truth though, I only had Bernardo as a starter ( a late swap with Arnie saw me go from 3-5-2 to 3-4-3) and the other 2 were always going to be subs for the first game

    Not that I'm complaining! I normally start off poorly and I would've already activated my wildcard by Sunday night (I may do so anyway lol). So it feels great to get off to a good start!

    There were lots of great defender scores. These leaders that played their bench boosts in GW1 (who considers that??) certainly had a defender result score wise.

    Those managers will probably abandon that team and rejoin with a account and team next week. It's a thing.

    Biting nails... I've been cautious and just made the one TF this week. It just doesnt feel right!! Gina's left me by the way side and used her Wildcard! She's also made a brave captain choice. One of us is being cavalier and I don't like it that it's not me ;puzzled ;hmm If this week's caution doesn't get rewarded I'll be going to town TF and wildcard wise next week! Again... It just doesn't feel right.

    Gina had Aguero as captain... Then got rid of him for Kane ;hmm Thats on top of having 30+ points on the bench last week.

    Fantasy can be a tough game to take sometimes!

    I need Salah to score a couple tomorrow to get back up to the summit (Mane scoring one would also help!).

    Trying real hard to hold out using my wildcard. I wanted to wait for the international break but not at all sure I can ;puzzled The world cup players are mostly back now so thats one reason which could sway me into temptation ;wahoo

    I'll be getting Salah in now, I think. For Erikson or Sanchez.

    I think I'll be joining the non Salah teams soon (you know what that'll provoke!). I've been messing around with a few permutations and having a player of 13M in the squad feels restrictive. There's no reason why he wont keep scoring (although not at last seasons levels?) but having a stronger 15 is appealing to me at the moment despite picking Salah and with him being my captain at Palace.

    All that said, if you have Sanchez (injured) at 10.5M thats virtually a Salah who doesnt seem to have rediscovered the scoring touch that made him that big a price in the first place. So that sounds like a plan. Basically searching the squad for another 2.5M which most people find with a base price defender for a premium one.
