Lukaku has saved me a bit and hopefully after autosubs I end up with not such a bad total after forgetting I needed to make my changes before the Friday game.
1. Swap out a player who will do really well for someone who will score significantly fewer points (preferably spending 4 points to achieve this)
2. Bench my higher-scoring GK
3. Give the armband to the striker who scores least of the three.

Better run of fixtures, for sure. He's not a guaranteed starter, but as a MF he gets more for his goals that a striker. Also in good form. ;hmm
Would you have him as a starter in your team, or rotate him with another mid-priced MF player?
I had Pogba in as Captain - did not realize that he was going to be out injured ;doh
Foolishly captained Kane over Lukaku though. However getting Mkihtaryian in for Pogba netted me a few more.
Going to give Kane and Firmino a few more games for improvement if no points come in i might bin them and get in Gabriel Jesus and take a punt on Chris Wood of Burnley and bring in a bigger midfielder like Salah or De Bruyne.
I've been wondering whose that team was for a while now. Didn't you win the league a couple of seasons back?
My approach to the predictor and fantasy football is rather law of averages based to I don't tend to get involved in the detailed transfer discussions etc.
I actually started off worse last year and hadnt even won a H2H at this point. Oh and I only found out my position because the other 'alf mentioned she was 3 points off the leader (despite having a smaller total of points than me ;wahoo )

Also, if we removed the points (ill-gotten gains) from those who captained Kane this week to create a true reflection Moral Victory League, we are both be doing much better! ;whistle
(I lost by one point in the H2H to someone who earned points from Captain Kane this week. They know who they are. ;whistle #offtheChristmascardlist )
Just checked my other teams: rooted to the bottom of the league in Draft (rubbish game, anyway, who though it was a good idea? ;doh ); had been doing well in Cheap League until my outstanding decision to captain Alonso + leave King on the bench (rubbish game, anyway, who though it was a good idea? ;doh )
I'm not too bad in the draft league (and I like that I can attempt as many TFs as I desire every week without penalty! ;wahoo )
As for captaining Kane, I have him in my team but there's no way I could captain him against us. When watching the game I'd be wanting him to miss everything whilst knowing he's my captain and that wouldn't sit well. I do get that if we lost there'd be compensation points wise if it was Kane's fault but I had other players who were worthy of captaincy that week ( and even if that wasnt the case I couldnt do it! ).
I'm not doing too bad over all points wise, most likely better than at this stage last season. So I'm still optimistic on moving up in the points league (and the H2H!).
I think the real problem is that I haven't made enough TFs!! That always helps ;wahoo ;nolan ;barrera

Still, it answered my question about whether, if you are bottom, ALL your waivers go through, or only the 1st one. And then the turn-taking kicks in.
