    After being in the lower half (40+ in the 606 league and lower half H2H) most of the season it is ;biggrin

    Aiming for Top 5 in H2H + in the top 10 of the 606 league. This will earn me a new 2 year contract ;wink

    baz, Valencias been declared fit. I think the scenario you outline for me winning my H2H is a triumph of optimism ;nonono

    I had hoped to put together a winning run to challenge for the top, having given up hope on the main league comp.

    Maybe I'll call it a season in transition. (From unlikely winner to business as usual mediocrity ;lol )

    I'm playing my wildcard next week though.

    I offered advice near the end of last season with wildcard in mind because I so wanted you to gain on those above you and thought it was perhaps the last chance to get into a position of having a real chance to win. It would've been amazing and something we could've all been proud of ( or is that me just being a softy? ;biggrin )

    I've been studying over the last few GWs which players I want for GW 36 and 37 ( also bearing in mind my GFs team still has bench boost and that teams appreciably higher than mine so I was doing it for dual purposes) and why.

    But, as you (gently) teased me, I'll hold off saying who I think should be in the team/squad unless I'm asked ;whistle ;puzzled

    I've just been looking to see whats what with my H2H next week coincidentally Twist ;wink My team value's 108.4M, Twists is 99.8M & MrsGreys is 99.1M

    So my 81 transfers ( I swear I nearly just made 3 and I keep changing my mind LOL ) and amazing ducking and diving/wheeling and dealing mean I have 8.6M and 9.3M more than you both

    So yes Mrs Grey you need more money. Only us frequent Bazfer people get to have Hazard, Sanchez, Kane, Lukaku, Alli + still have room for a Baines,Valencia and Alonso defence. I also have King and Zaha plus someone else when I bin off that fool Negredo. Is that enough justification for 81 transfers or shall I ramble on?

    Now you've asked MrsGrey, I was going to detail the pool of players I thought best to pick from for GW 36 and 37, However, I just checked and saw I'm H2H with you in GW37!!! ;wahoo ;nonono You and your shiny new wildcard. Anyway, Iknow you dont need any help picking out players for those weeks. Once you've played your wildcard though I can compare notes on who I'd have picked ;wink

    Yes - I think he isn't at risk of rotation, as MP will want to put out his best players as they push for the title. AndSpurs have a reasonable run-in.

    Rashford - too risky. Rotation/European games. Even though they do have double GWs.

    Was my thinking.

    I agree re Rashford, just thought you may have kept him because of budget restrictions (same with Pickford)

    My dilemma is that I want to make 3 to 4 changes before the double GWs but believe if I do that I'll have to sacrifice my H2H against Twist or Bantletico (I think the latter has the weaker team currently in terms of injuries and people not playing). The old me would just make the transfers, like my team and swallow the penalty points. But its too close to the end of the season to give away a H2H just because I want certain players for GW36 and 37! ;wahoo

    Not sure if I will hold out til Saturday despite knowing what the sensible thing to do is hehe
