    Better no Schmeichel than that ref giving Stekelenberg an own goal for-1!! ;devil That decision cost me a 6pt clean sheet. So 7pts gone which I could have made 1 and 3/4 transfers with ;wahoo I'll take a guess I am probably the only person in the 606 league with him as GK ;scary

    Thanks for taking one for the team, however I do not think that the curse is yours alone.

    In truth, I am quite happy that he has been useless since I transferred him in, I think I am going to keep him, coz we all know what will happen as soon as he is transferred out

    A query - how are points deducted for transfers?

    There seems to be two systems: for example, baz - points have been deduced in your H2H score but not your normal league score.

    Transfer deductions are taken off when the game week you make them in closes. So if I had 300 points in gameweek 5 and made 4 transfers, 12 points is taken off when game week 5 closes at 11.30am and I go into gameweek 6 with 288 points. It shows on my points score in brackets on my page how many I was deducted (and on the head to head it takes me from 67 to 55 points)

    So your deductions happens in the H2H once all the matches are finished, but in the ordinary league it only deducts them once next transfer window - traditionally- slams shut .

    Seems a bit of an odd way to do it, imo. ;puzzled

    In the H2H, I started with -12 points and the running total incorporates those transfers. In the normal league, it basically details how many transfers I made and what points it cost me BUT those 12 points are taken off before the actual games start so I am not shown as '55' (as in the H2H) but as '67', the points I actually amassed.

    So the simple answer is, it's good to be against me in the H2H but a bit embarrassing to lose to me when you potentially get a 12 start ;whistle

    I'm debating whether to make 3 or 4 transfers this week (already made one), so Luke will have that to consider as he's against me ;wahoo
