Having said that, he's the same as Shawcross, who has let me down in recent seasons a little, despite my persistence in choosing him. Might put him in.
More regular though? A lot of FBs are up there on assists mostly. There are certain CBs who get a lot of goals, like Koscielny and Aderweireld, but they're more expensive. With CBs I think you have monitor which teams are doing well with getting clean sheets and then bring in their CBs, like the Leicester pair. They might not do it this year. Like Cresswell is in the top 20 but no other West Ham defender is.
I guess there's not much in it, I just found it was generally easier to go mostly go with FBs apart from a handful of CBs who do regularly score or are in teams with regular clean sheets.
It'll all about tinkering. The fullbacks who get points for assists don't tend to get too many points for clean sheets, so it's a balancing act. I would back the Manchester clubs to get a lot of clean sheets.

I had Iheanacho in my team at first as well, but I've changed my mind.
At £50m, does Stones have to start? I'm not sure he'll start in the prem for City. Maybe in the CL?
Doesn't score much though.
Quick, to the tinker room ;run

So thought I better check the evidence.
9 goals in 135 games for Southampton. ;hmm

I have just checked my (current) team and realise that I have broken my own 'rules' in the case of 8 of my players ;doh
