I have often wondered if those 'options to buy' parts of the loan deal mean anything at all other than if all three parties want to do a deal exactly the same as it does anyhow.
It just means that we have first refusal. So we've probably already agreed a fee as part of the loan and, as long as Lanzini consents, he'll officially sign in the summer. Just means another club can't make an offer until we fail to get it over the line.
But Pards is right. If Barca come in he just says 'no thanks' and goes there.
