Was such a shame to see what happened to him Twist but he simply couldn't resist temptation and once he thought he was a superstar his career went downhill and he got addicted to drugs.
Maybe if someone had taken him under their wing he would have been OK, we will never know.
At least he should be remembered for getting us to our highest league position. ;scarf
I'd highly recommend 'The Boleyn Boys' - a programme they did on sky discussing their memories. Billy Bonds, Tony Cottee, Tony Gale and Alan Devonshire. ;clap

Didn't affect his play too much.
It's his performance on the pitch that was outstanding.
George Best , Bobby, Gazza and a few others all enjoyed a drink too, some to excess as we are aware.

Frankie Mac- What a player! Him and TC were the best!
Great player for us, does anyone also remembering him appearing on the Wogan show, and it was a big thing back then! ;wahoo
Frankie and Tony were great to watch, very exciting and talented, always looked forward to seeing them play such great football. ;thumbsup
