If it's any consolation, I played my ATTACK joker this week so that I could have all 5 MF players on the pitch as well as my 3 forwards. ;wahoo
Unfortunately, one of those was Silva, so he will automatically be subbed with one of my defenders. Meaning I played the usual 3-4-3 formation anyway. ;doh ;weep
Austin, in the 'pick your team' page, you have three special options (a new feature this year) that you can use once (each).
Usually the game forces you to play 3 defenders, but with the 'attack' option it lets you play only 2, so you can have more MF and forwards for that game week. ;ok
(There's a 'triple captain points' one and a 'bench boost' which basically means all your players points count for that week, even if you didn't pick them in your starting line-up.)
After yesterday's tentative shall I bring in Hazard or save 4 points wussy behaviour, I'm back to being the sort of man who doesn't need a wildcard to make 11 changes to his squad ;wahoo ;puzzled
P.s I suggest everyone else keeps Beneke as he's playing Villa at home and will not be injured plus will score a hattrick ;whistle
Although baz, you probably don't feel as bad as my H2H opponent this week. He chose Benteke over Pelle as his captain .. and played his Triple Captain card ;nonono
I brought Martial in last weekend ( after he scored of course ;hmm ) and sat through the whole week wondering if my player prices rising could mean I'd bring Debruyne in. That didnt happen so I brought back Payet ( ;bowdown hes allowed to not score a lot of points as he's umm Payet ;bowdown again because hes that good ).
Noticed my H2H opponent went from 1 TF to 2 ( guessing because he took Silva out, not that I look and analyse of couse ) So I figured I was giving him 4 points before so at 11.30am deadline on the dot I splurged on Hazard for Pedro....
I had 2.7M spare... I had a number of players who, if they rose this GW, we due to increase my team value as a whole ( as in Martial, Kolarov, Cresswell, Mahrez, Wilson etc who when I bought them in were X amount lower and giving me more TF money when rising every 0.2 in price. )
Simplistically... Whatever you've got to spend at the top of the page will rise by 0.1 every time a player moves up in his buy price by 0.2 e,g bought in at 5.5M - He rises up to 5.7M for people to buy but the player in your team gets you an extra 0.1 to spend... That's of course unless other players in your team lose value in the week. ;wahoo It doesn't read as that simplistic does it ;lol

Baz - I grasp, conceptually, that this is English, but I'm all ;puzzled and ;nonono
It's a good job I didnt go for the complicated version? ;wink
Yes, I should've stepped back and thought before typing ( a bit like when I think its a good idea to make 3 transfers every week - Only our late equaliser has stopped me from being irritated @ the FF game again )
OK... If Wilson is bought at 5.5M, if his price subsequently rises twice ( by 0.2 ) then your team gets 0.1 more to spend ;biggrin
Wilson sounds like a bad injury from reading the BBC running thread - Oh another transfer ( when I'd already decided I wanted rid of Gomez, so that's two TFs and I have a whole week to twitch about others ;wahoo )

It's not often you get 1000 points from your back line ;wahoo

Oh, yeah, you did that already. ;biggrin

And what to do about David Silva ;hmm

We'll see who scores more out of those two ;hmm

I've played my bench boost too.
3 subs will have to come in.....Rooney and Cabaye being two of them, the third is trippier who won't play unless there is an injury at Spurs.
Step forwars Rooney/Cabaye to cost me then
Heads will roll!
Starting with Aguero.
