He should fit right in and is definitely a West Ham signing as Ex reports -
This sounds pretty worrying, and to be completely honest his injury record doesn’t look the best. He has already missed 34 matches with injury in his career despite only being nineteen. However, he does have a lot of potential.
Still no sign of a CB which is more pressing (no pun intended) unless rumours of Krecj prove to be correct?
A quick summary shows that if Magassa leaves, the total of players to exit West Ham since the end of last season stands at Wilson, Fabianski, Disasi, Traore, Fernandes, Summerville, Potts, Fullkrug, Marshall, Earthy, Diouf, Ward-Prowse, Todibo, Magassa..in addition to youngsters Michael Forbes, Junior Robinson, Tyron Akpata, Daniel Rigge, David Chigwada and Tom Wooster.
And there’s still Edson Alvarez and Maxwel Cornet waiting in the wings, potentially sixteen first team players and six youngsters gone since May.
Simple question - Would a starting line up of players from that 16 beat our current first 11? None of this "Didn't want to be here" as we don't really know why that is as it's not been proved that that is solely due to us being relegated.
We need a LB, ideally a CB. Mavropanos, Kilman, Veltman, Golambeckis are good options. But that is still only two senior, natural CBs. I will feel disappointed if we don’t add another (basically replacing Disasi). I think we’ve seen enough of Scarles to know that we need another option there (basically replacing Diouf). Once Austbo signs, I am fairly happy with all other positions. Yes, we might like another CM & ST. But I see those as less urgent given we have Kanté, Souček, Orford, Engels (plus still Magassa & Álvarez) in midfield, as well as Taty, Piroe, Pablo up front. We also have Bowen, Solomon, Lamadrid, Ajala as wide options (plus Austbo).

Agree with most of that, but don't think Alvarez & Magassa will still be with us come the close of the transfer window, guess your brackets denoted that...
IMO We need a busy, successful end to the window...
There don’t seem any obvious rumours about Alvarez & Magassa given how close we now are to the deadline.
I've read quite a few online stories ( yeh, all speculation, that there are loan deals lined up for both ), but let's see, if they stay, then we have enough in midfield....
I read that Alvarez had a move agreed with Olympiakos (might have been a different Greek club) but that the manager there isn't really interested in him so it's looking like it will fall apart.
I think we have plenty of bodies in central midfield unless both Magassa and Alvarez go, but the thing we're still lacking is a good crafty passer in midfield. Mukasa and Orford have it about them, but I'm not sure it's wise to rely heavily on two such young players.
I wouldn’t hate him coming here, but there’s no way he starts, and I would be disappointed if he took many minutes off Golambeckis. If it’s him and another cb then I’m ok with it, if it’s just him it’s a bad deal.
This is the annoying thing about our international captain Alvarez. He wants out but there is no queue of clubs knocking the door down to sign him. Now is this because he's difficult to manage? He's downed tools here for the second time so maybe we will be stuck with him which is not all bad as he is the obvious fit as DM for us.
Who said Alvarez wants out, might it be that he has not felt wanted or even worse not felt part of the squad, If we sell, presumably for not much money where do we get a good DM for that money with limited time? We should try to keep hold and integrate him again.

1st Team - Wilson, Summerville, Fernandes, Todibo, Diouf
Squad - Potts, Magassa, Traore, Ward-Prowse, Fabianski?
Not ours - Disasi
Not good enough - Earthy, Marshall
Didn't want to be here - Fullkrug, Alvarez, Cornet
CB is a must for me, worrying their are no links

Minimum a CB, LB & 1 or 2 more.....IMO
