I think the penalty is 50-50, certainly a decent argument for and against it. In general despite my conspiracy theories about the officiating I felt the ref and VAR did a good job.
I think the performance wasn't as bad as Tuchel seemed to think, the temperature and humidity aside I think Norway are decent and well organised, as Brazil found out. I also think we have three big players in Rice, Bellingham and Kane and we need all three on form to be dining at the top table of football, and I felt Rice wasn't there yesterday and I could see why he was taken off as clearly struggling with injury or virus.
Think he’s gone out of his way to make Bobb trip him up. Bobb’s not even trying to kick or tackle, you can’t ask someone to just stop running in case someone steps in front of you, completely out of his normal stride. I think most of us would be fuming if that was given against us as foul.
I disagree with that. He hasn’t made Bobb trip him. He’s placed his foot where he needs to so he can shield the ball. The defender needs to ensure he doesn’t make contact, as he’s already wrong side. Really clumsy defending. All the pundits seem to already have it in their head every penalty somebody is looking for contact.
Before long, we’ll be booking strikers when they knock the ball past the keeper to win the penalty or for running across defenders so they have their heels clipped.
That says it all there. Winning a penalty. The object shouldn’t be to make sure you get fouled so that you get a penalty. Mbappe had a penalty turned round for doing exactly the same thing. I’ve lost count at this World Cup of the number of players going down screaming and rolling around holding their leg or ankle but not getting the foul they want and then getting up and running around. On at least three occasions I’ve seen it, including last night, the opposition end up scoring and it serves them right.
IH I lost count of the number of players feigning injury but saw at least three occasions where a goal was scored while they were still lying there calling for a foul so both were correct 😀

What this World Cup has shown is that Arsenal are going to struggle next season with the minimal contact allowed at corners, and free kicks.
