There's something over on KUMB that suggests Guilherme got married in the week (a reference to an Instagram post supposedly made by the club on Guilherme's own IG account).
Congrats to the lad and his lovely bride if true, although very young to be married (different culture and upbringing though so I do understand).
Saw something today that said we never paid CSKA for half of the Nikola Vlasic fee as Russia were sanctioned due to the war, but that’s been overturned in CAS so now we have to pay them £13.5m or face a transfer ban, which is hilariously tinpot if true.
Football powers say pay. Law of the land says it's illegal to pay. Surely CAS can't force you to break the law. Or will the payment be held in some kind of government escrow?

Edit, further thoughts.
Surely CAS is just a court - they interpret the rules. They can't enforce bans and sanctions - isn't that up to the governing bodies (PL, UEFA etc).

In a very short summary; the Due date for the outstanding payment will be the date the sanctions on payment to Russians are lifted. Any interest on the outstanding amount will only accrue from that new Due date,

It appears the issue is FIFA, who'd have thought?
