Ings... Umm i was reading up on the recent games and, as opposed to Origi ( the other striker behind Benteke), he doesn't seem to be scoring. He seems like a 7.5M striker ( not massively priced or cheap ) who isn't going to be a regular starter. I think theyll go with Benteke up front and Coutinho plus Firmino behind with Milner Henderson, Can fighting for center mid roles and Lallana and Ibe, who they've been bigging up in pre-season, wider. So I think he's going to be fighting for a wider role with them unless Bentekes unfit or injured. he didnt score for ages at the end of the season and has one in preseason. So he's not forcing the manager to pick him. I think hes a big risk at 7.5M is the concise answer
They've been saying in press and on football sites for a time that Bertrand wont make the start of the season ( FPL has an orange marker by him as well ) or I would've considered him as he did so well last year.
I steered clear of Ings last season but was thinking he might flourish with Liverpool.
It's always a dilemma with players from 'bigger' clubs (or squads). I seem to have an erring knack of picking the ones who come on as 80th minutes subs. ;doh
I only slightly altered my team since last post ( it shocked me too )...
My 5.5 striker is swapped from Deeney to Wilson. Why? (I hear you all say) ;whistle
1) Watfords many changes in personnel and away vs Everton first game who I think are strong defensively especially at home. So I had planned to bench Deeney anyway. 2) Bournemouth are home to much changed Villa
After looking at both strikers first 10 fixtures I noticed that game week 2 and 3 are much better for Deeney and not that good for Wilson (then pretty even for both after that.).
So... I am going to TF Deeney in for GW 2 and 3 then see how both teams/strikers are doing before I decide whether to swap back to Wilson. ( unless I get injuries or the whole team goes up in smoke! )
One factor is that I have Ritchie in MF and I don't want to overload from Bournemouth. Ritchies goal/assist record last season was outstanding so I want to keep him unless Bournemouth struggle for goals. Plus I think Deeney is central to Watford + takes penalties and he's been consistent for more years.
I had intended to make it a short posting but I then realized, as Clint Eastwood once said... "A man must know his limitations" ;wink
P.s that Walcott/Giroud scenario is ;hmm I want to put in Walcott but its currently making me avoid both of them til I see the preferred option and whether, like in the shield, one gets subbed after an hour consistently.

Kane, Lukaku, Pelle, Gomis, Wilson, Deeney, Rooney, Sakho, Defoe, Benteke, Diouf seem like the most game time attackers for their clubs
;run
They've revamped it, I see.
Last season we had it linked direct from here (over on the right), but the link seems to have disappeared ;puzzled
GREY!! ;run
or is that just a cunning ruse by young lucas to get people to drop him.
Lucas then deploys the treble captain option for giroud as he puts in 5 on the opening day of the season....
;wink
Even a 30 second cameo, nailed on.
I've already brought in Ivanovic, Kaboul and Zaha this week.
;hmm

Happy with the team but I am worried I have too many from the same teams.
I also have no potential player, normally like one low priced player that scores big.
Really want to get Payet in their but I can't drop him for MFs from the big 4....
I also picked Kane and I just he is going to be rubbish just to spit a WH fan....
