  • I though it worked like this;

You sell a player who is doing poorly and replace him with one who is doing well, the one who was doing poorly goes on to get many goals / make great saves / keeps clean sheets and the one who was doing well fractures his sock ;doh
  • That's the traditional way, suz ;thumbsup
  • Oh jolly good, I didn't want to be getting it wrong.
  • ;ok

I've been doing it that way for 3 years now, so I am always happy to help out the newbies. ;biggrin
  • Thanks hun ;hug
  • a whooping score of 63pts arrested my slide downwards, mostly hanks to Kane and Kompany......wise move keeping Rooney on te bench..possibly time to transfer him out....
  • LOL! swapping poor form for good form and it reversing is basically the only thing you can rely on in the FF game! ( and no Greavesy, I dont wanna hear that 'its a funny old game'! ) ;hmm
  • To tinker, or not to tinker. That is the question. ;fence
  • Done a couple......had to, running out of patience with some of my lot

    ;cool
  • I can't decide whether or not to ditch Sakho.
  • I've got him on the bench today. Nailed on hat trick then.
  • Its wrong to change a winning team.... ;doh
  • I won't, once I get one that wins ;weep
  • Its wrong to change a winning team.... ;doh
    I wouldn't know ;lol

My defenders are doing quite well in the clean sheet dept, and Mahrez scored 2. If only I'd made him captain ;doh
  • I had a really bad day ;weep
  • Kolarov misses late penalty ( so instead of 8 points I get zero ). having less expensive players means I have 15 decent players instead of a lopsided squad reliant on pricey players. So someone has to go on the bench with some weeks it being a tricky decision. So I look at WBAs defensive record and think maybe Mahrez should be my benched MF (Mane Lamela and De Bruyne all at home and Payet at Watford ). I figured if I benched Payet he'd obviously score! So Mahrez scores more than all of them put together ;angry ;doh

So a bad day at the office for West Ham and the FF ;hmm
  • baz - I hear you, re WBA. I benched Mahrez (also because he'd been a sub in the last few games). Fortunately, Sakho didn't play, so M will be subbed in ;phew
  • Don't know how I done today, the website is just hanging at the mo
  • It's been like that since before the early KO, expat. Very frustrating!
  • Sakho didn't play, so M will be subbed in ;phew
    Confused of Surrey ;puzzled
Sakho is a forward so won't your other forward come in in place of him rather than a midfielder ;hmm

No. Your first in line from the bench comes in (effectively meaning I'll end up playing playing two forwards in a 3-5-2 formation). The only time your 'next in line' won't be subbed in automatically (no matter what their relative positions) is when you play 3 defenders and one doesn't play.

The game is set to require 3 defenders always, so if you start with 3 and one doesn't play, your first-in-line-bench-defender is subbed in ;ok

I always (usually) play 3, 4, 3 - so as to get all higher-scoring (in theory, anyway ;doh ) players on the pitch.
  • Excellent, I have weaned the secrets of the league leader for my own nefarious means of gaining points ;lol

    Thanks for the clarification ;thumbsup
  • But can I be trusted?

    ;biggrin
  • Austin, how dare you, you cad sir, you bounder ;fishslap

How could one possibly doubt Mrs G ;hmm

    Nope.

    ;nonono

    Calumny!

It's nail files at dawn, sir!
  • 51 points not too unhappy with that and glad I left the Leicester midfielder in
  • Ooh, suz - I've just realised that you're playing my Hairstyles XI in the H2H.

    ;sofa
  • Ah, I had Kone playing up front.
