    The rumour mill has us looking at Josh Sargent of Norwich and Coventrys Haji Wright. The signing of a striker could decide if we get the goals to stay up or not but it's such a big moment for us and I wouldn't like to be the guy who makes the call.

    We could stick with Wilson and Fulkrug as Willson is showing up for us whenever he gets the chance and Fulkrug has something there even is we haven't seen it yet. We could also look to buy one of the two championship strikers mentioned and hope they can make the transition fast or perhaps go down the loan route of a striker at a top club who may not be getting so many chances whom we could offer a decent loan fee for in the hope they can do a Lingard for us.

    I think I would look for a loan if possible rather than hope a Championship player can make such a quick impact. Toney would be the dream signing, but probably just that.

    To be honest I can't think of any Premier League strikers who are currently not getting played apart from those who are injured

    Why do I have this nasty feeling that we're going to end up doing a "Haller" with Fullkrug?

    Or if we do get a replacement they're going to be a "Hugill"?

    Option to buy makes no sense for us imo.

    An option to buy is a term that would not appear to carry much weight as everyone has an option to buy a player. Whilst the club could be held to a contract and prevented selling to someone else they would only need the player to state clearly he doesn't want the move and it means nothing. We need an obligation to buy ideally but I suspect we will do a straight loan to free up some wages to pay a loan signing of our own.
