  • We can’t be that much worse with 10
  • Summerville’s limping too
  • And now we are down to ten as we have used our subs and Mavro has pulled his hamstring
  • This is a poor Brentford side. Where do we go from here?

    Championship, I reckon
  • Shocking performance...
  • I am going to hibernate for a few months. Awful.

I must admit I wouldn't be surprised if we do go down, we just offer so little.

And Brentford finally get a second.

  • 2-0. Absolutely disgraceful display. Everyone should hold their heads in shame. Can’t see us winning another game this calendar year.
  • I honestly have no idea what Nuno was thinking of with that line-up and formation, he has to take a large part of the blame imo.
  • IMO, Summerville is the only one of our lot who can hold his head up high this evening

Callum Wilson didn't put a foot wrong.
  • Well they got the second but it did not matter, the final score cannot hide that was an absolute horror show.

On that performance and display…..we are only nine games in but you have to fear for us

    Ho hum
  • I genuinely thought we’d get our act together, I am certain that we will struggle to win another game this season

When we had the ball there was always a Brentford player within a yard of us. When they had it you’d need a wide vision scope to see one of our players in the same picture.
Why Marshall was on instead of Wilson is anyone’s guess. He looked way out of his depth.
It says something when Henderson was far more energetic than any of our lot.
  • Terrible, just terrible!
………. at least tickets MAY be cheaper in the championship! 😭
  • Embarrassing display. By this showing we would do a Luton. Only one shot at goal, that is one in two games. Strange starting team, no centre-forward. Clueless in every department. No fire, passion, creativity, attack, game plan. Every time ball is arrived in our penalty area we looked so vulnerable. Changing managers hasn't done anything. Where is the next point going to come from?
  • It’s my birthday today. I had a stroke in April and my lovely wife booked a couple of days away in the new forest. She said west ham were playing tonight and where she booked had sky tv. It’s the first time I’ve seen us play this season. I couldn’t believe how bad we are and it’s been slinging it down with rain since we arrived. Ho hum. =)

When do Nuno’s coaching team arrive or are we not paying for that either?
  • He’s appointed our development and academy coaches as his full time first team coaches.

Sullivan has already spent that money on his sparkly jacket!
  • Five successive home defeats now including the last one of last season. Not something to be proud of.
  • We’re going to end up like Watford going through loads of managers, but with the same players!
  • I can’t believe I’ve booked to see us play Burnley in November.
  • Leeds will turn us over. There is no way this doormat of a side goes to Elland Road & deals with that atmosphere.
  • Fortunately only 30 more league games and one FA Cup game to suffer. Maybe, just maybe, there will be a win among them but I’m not confident.
  • The atmosphere is irrelevant as we can’t deal physically with any team in the PL even if we played in empty stadia, which ours is going to be soon.
It’s like when you played at school and you had some of the kids who shied away from physicality or just dangled a leg out with their eyes closed in case the ball hurt. We have a team full of those type of players. Our defenders are weaker than anything you could normally imagine.
  • Giant Happy birthday my man .Hope your doing okay .Best not to watch us play to often
  • It’s my birthday today.

Apart from the dismal showing, I hope you had good things in your day. Wishing you better health over the next year :-)

  • It's hard to be objective about your own team but at present we look like one those Championship side newly promoted who look woefully out of their depth upon encountering Premier opposition.

If I blame anyone it's Lopetgui and whoever chose him. He has wasted our money on two atrocious centre back and we are still playing with no centre forward. It will be a miracle if Nuno can get this side to safety.

Summerville Paqueta and Bowen look ok but have no supply as Paqueta should be supplying but is having to be further up in the absence of a centre forward.

It's very early days but at this point Wolves and ourselves look down.
