Shows the madness of football ownership. A guy who apparently has no control over Palace, someone owns 40%+ of the club, despite running another club into financial ruin.
Nothing new
Robert Maxwell owned Oxford Utd and Derby County while he was stealing from the Daily Mirror’s pension fund
And yet the owners of our clubs and others are opposing the Football Governance Bill currently going through parliament that would make it harder for dodgy people to buy into English football
I am sure it comes with a hefty wage bill but that really is a bargain.
It reminds me of Zabaleta, he may have been past his best and no longer a City starter but for us he was a great signing and served us well.
You probably didnt (why would you) but doubt you watched any of their games last year....he was god awful
His pace has dropped off a cliff, and unlike Zabaleta or Trippier, Walkers game is completely built off his physical attributes, was never the most technical
Think its a no trainer but don't see if being a particularly great buy
Brother sledge you can clearly see Mead’s right leg is beyond the French defender so offside as the rule stands. Shouldn’t be down to millimetres though and it should be changed to clear daylight which would also make teams a bit more reluctant to play the trap.

Don't agree with your second point, offside is offside imo, but in real time, and the frozen shot as the ball was played, she clearly looked offside to me.
Alvarez scored a 77th minute winner as Mexico won the Concacaf Gold Cup Final, beating USA 2-1 after falling behind in just the 4th minute. So his season has just ended, and pre-season starts pretty soon I guess; the U21s are already back.
Lyon have been reinstated to Ligue 1 after appealing the decision to relegate them and have reached an agreement with UEFA to play in the Europa League
I feel so bad for Palace fans. I like that multi-club ownership has consequences, but this feels a lot like the punishment is going to the wrong people. It always feels rough when there are on pitch consequences for off field decisions.

But a lot of off field decisions can have huge on pitch consequences with dodgy trades between sister clubs. Not saying this has been the case for Palace though.
I agree this could end up being very harsh on Palace as the Textor group only had a minority holding.
Yeah and I know that really the only way to punish them is on the pitch as financial punishments are nothing to these people, it just also sucks as Textor won’t really care about any of this.

Kyle Walker to Burnley for £5m.
Blimey, that's a bargain!

If he helps keep them up it is worth it
Really impressive.

They didn't put their shares into a blind trust before 1st March because they didn't believe there was any chance they'd qualify for Europe
I suppose it makes a change from the usual overoptimism, top six finish, silverware, Champions League, etc.

There's also David Blitzer who owns 10% of Palace and 50.1% of Brondby
