Australia 98-6 at lunch, a lead of 140. Green and the cheat Smith at the crease for the start of the afternoon session, England desperate to keep any chase down to the minimum, but they have to do it without Atkinson who is off the field with a hamstring issue.
This one so short almost entirely down to pitch preparation, and will cost Cricket Australia millions of dollars. A degree of karma for letting the cheat Smith captain them again.
Atkinson, as expected, ruled out of the final Test after injuring his hamstring on the morning of day 2 at the 4th Test, with Matthew Potts expected to take his place.
England finally get a wicket, after dropping Head when he was on 121, as they get the nightwatchman; 234-3. We've buned all our reviews already as well.
Jacks drops Head again just before lunch, a tough chance off his own bowling rather than the relatively easy chance on the boundary he put down earlier. The cheat Smith also got a life as well just before that, England have dropped far too many chances all series.
