We (ie TIW and I) have got a huge number of identical predictions (12), and of the other 8 we only differ by 1 goal in 7 of them. What's curious (at least to me) is that my predictions are spat out by a spreadsheet I've constructed (yeah, I know, I need to get a life 😂🤣😂) so, as I've tinkered with it through the season, it looks like it's not too far off if it's delivering predictions this close to the league leader and top scorer.

Out of interest, how do people make their predictions? Gut feel? Checking the table and form? Building a spreadsheet was, for me, more interesting than actually making predictions, but it would need a lot of improvement to be able to beat the market with it.

Well I look at league positions and current form to make my predictions, as you can see it really works for me.

    Thanks for replying 😊.

You've been unlucky as you've conceded (something you have no control over) the second most goals. I've been lucky as currently I've conceded the fewest goals so my league position definitely flatters me.

I am having my worst predictive season ever. No matter which way I select them I get nil points until last 3 games....I was thinking of renaming my team " The Last 10 MINUTES", thats where my points go as teams score late goals in my selectings and m impressive 5, 6 or7 pts reduces to 2 if i am lucky but usually 1 or 0.
Foor example i Had spot on scores at Barnsley, late goal for them 2-1, i had 1-1, huddes late goal at watford, well you get the pattern.

I usually predict on experience but noteasy these days, better pitches, squad sysstem, ligther ball and of course that great game changer VAR, how many times hhas that helped you

I USED to play during my youth a simple cricket game called roll the pencil. so i thought i would make a football roller , it has 7 sides and 1x3, and 2x 1, 2, x0 and two 2s. simly roll it and note nos, 1-1, 1-2 etc, it did take some refinement, the sides had different colours, and i dozens to determine the side that was rare would be 3, next 2 most common sides would e ones

    good luck tomorrow
