Can diving be punished retrospectively now? I thought that it was only the severity of the ref’s punishment which could be increased, decreased or lifted completely, but if the ref doesn’t call it, it can’t be questioned after. Am I wrong?

I think it can be retrospective if it affects the outcome. So on that basis, if deemed a dive he will be punished

Don't think that 3 people could agree that was simulation. Think one of the categories is considering if the player was trying to avoid contact/injury. If Lanzini doesn't go over him, he gets clattered.
