115 points with seven players.
With 2 double GWs to come and a GW35 when the most of the prior (if not all, havent checked that) GW34 double teams dont play its a bit of a minefield as to who to pick and drop plus how to incorporate remaining chips.
A lot of us do not have wildcards, free hits or bench boosts left. So, as with me, I know I'll have to take the penalty TF points (but that's norm for me anyway) to negotiate as I have just a bench boost left (which I'll have to use in one of the doubles)
Despite Mrs Grey being a little bit behind she's still well within reach if those chips come off. So, after all the above, I'm very curious to know Adam and Mrs Greys thoughts (I dont know if Tom ever says anything here) on what they perceive the right or wrong way to go is.
Obviously with tactics/plans in mind I dont expect a public detailing (I'm foolish enough to lol) of actual tactical plans but the analyst in me, as said, is very curious to know your thoughts. So perhaps PMing is best if you decide you want to share (and i'll obviously share my own thoughts on who, what when etc - I've written at least 3 Word docs at different points over the last couple of weeks without amalgamating ;doh again)

I plan to use my Free Hit in the GW where some matches will be postponed.
Interestingly, the events of the last 'short' GW showed that even with only 5 or 6 players it is possible to match or better the scores of people with more players... as long as you have the right (few) players.
You know my parsimonious nature ( ;wink ) so I'd be looking at how I can get the most points for fewest transfer spend, rather than spending big to fill my squad.
Maybe try imagining you had your Free Hit, what players would you bring in? Then pick the key (say) 6 ... then see if you can't start bringing hem in sooner: that way their (hopefully high) scores in the next few weeks will generate good returns in a block of matches including GW35?
btw, well done to your other half for squashing me in the H2H this week. Even if I hadn't left Schmeicel's FIFTEEN POINTS ;doh on the bench, I wouldn't have won. ;clap
I do have thoughts as to how I would've used your chips ( e.g. the wildcard you played this week ) but as you're a few points behind Adam I thought I'd not say anything in public hehe
I suspected, after myself and Gina looked at your team last week (plus right up until the death you made no TF), that you may have used your wildcard this week. When I saw your squad after the deadline, I thought yours was more tailored to future GWs as opposed to that current one. We all have our own opinions on who was best for this week (e.g . Leicester defence and she lucked out with Robertson) and both of us benefited from Silva, Arnie and Aubameyang as Capt. That Schmeichel 15pts had to hurt! Yes, it wouldn't have altered H2H but in the points league it wouldve helped
Her and I have had similar-ish squads. I think she currently has a stronger MF and DF than I do (not sure how that happened!). I've been trying to transition from the last small GW when salah scored 4 and getting rid of WBA and Bournemouth players is current objective but I have no spare money because of my expensive FWDs. I know who I'd like to bring in but I need another 2.5M ;lol
As for the draft league... My last few GW scores have been excellent (had plenty of luck with transactions coming in and doing well) combined with the top 2 not doing so well. My only objective was to try keep above you (as we were close in scores) and catch Adam/or get close (let alone beyond that) and that looked bleak a while back. Being proactive in the TF market while those above me kept same teams helped a lot. So, the short version = I've been very lucky
Usually they only get permission to have league mid-week games if there is no other option, but as the Arsenal and City games can be played in GW37, where there is space, I can't see why the PL would apply for an exemption. ;hmm
Myself and Tom are similar in that we've bombed out chips and we have no fear of making a lot of TFs! So I have to say I admire his style ;lol You and Mrs Grey are in the more frugal TF corner.
I cant seem to help it, I just dont like a settled squad and any number of things make me reach for the TF button!
Theoretically, if we all had our chips back, I'm currently of the opinion that we'd use them differently to one another over the next few GWs ;hmm
e.g. I wanted rid of Mkhitaryan but with Arsenals fix I was loathed to spend 4 points doing it
So... Friday comes and I still dont know what to do for the best. He's injured and Salahs looking fragile too.
I also know I'm up against GF in the H2H and I told her, with no conducive chips for the double GWs and GW35, that this was the week we should make some TFs
So.... I go on the TF rampage. ;wahoo What else would anyone expect from me. ;hmm ;whistle ;wink

I was way down the bottom for about three months because everybody jumped on the lukaku bandwagon and i didn't.Reason being when he played for everton he was rather hit and miss,anyway i got my fingers burnt.
I have climbed steadily since december helped on gameweek 31 when i had salah as triple captain ;wahoo.
My ambition now is to finish in the top ten at the end of the season.
How are you fixed for chips?
Ohh and i decided not to rejoin the league. I figured I didnt deserve to after throwing my toys out of the pram ;whistle
I figured with the doubt over today ( just seen the team sheet ;phew ) and possible rotation and no DGW, I'd better look for a player who could potentially outscore him over the remaining fixtures.
I suppose it will depend on how bad his injury is, and how far Liverpool go in the CL (Klopp might manage his pitch time).
Still, I can always get him in with my Free Hit for week 35. ;star
You've both used your wildcards now and I have to admit that I dont like either of your teams (although I get, with the double GWs in mind, why you've brought in certain players). That said, I still want to alter more of my squad but I figured 5 TFs in one week (no wildcard cost me 16 points. Need captain Jane to gain some of those back) was enough ;wahoo
