Chelsea do have good fixtures coming up, and he's bound to start scoring soon. It's not like he's not been getting lots of chances. I've been trying to ride out his goal drought until his price stabilises (or preferably increases).
With Jesus getting injured, Aguerro is definitely attractive (had been steering clear because of Pep's unpredictable ;wahoo ). But I'm just a tiny bit short of cash....
I suppose if we get confirmation that Salah is injured for a longer spell, the burden of decision-making will be lifted...
He is getting chances and he has Hazard, Willian and co behind him so he should be getting chances. I think if his confidence drops then the only real alternative for Conte is to not play a striker as hes got no faith in Bats (;weep). I think, after last nights game, Moratas price will drop further as it has been doing so anyway/he'll be TFd out by a chunk of people.
I think Salahs injury isnt a big deal and after the cup week rest he'll be back
Now the Xmas fixtures are done, even if Salah is out for another GW my MF and squad will have enough cover to keep him. So I wont TF him out
So that means, after this weeks TFs, I will have a settled squad with all outfield players actually regularly playing.
Which means no more TFs.... Nah that CANNOT be right! I'll get injuries, get bored, get players losing form. ;phew
I have an Indonesian Everton supporter... Not a bad team either.
Despite using my wildcard, I think I could've picked a better squad. I want to alter 2/3 players and wouldnt mind the 8 point loss in terms of the league. However, I think giving up an 8 point deficit in the cup (which I did in GW 19 and 20 - just checked) against a team with 6 of the same players as me is asking to get knocked out. So I am currently unsure what to do (probably will make only 2 TFs, taking out Arnie and Maguire)
just checked again and hes made one TF. He had 2.4M free and now its 1.6M. My guess is that he's spent that on Lingard (Choupo 5.4, Lingard 6.2) which I will match as I am worried (as Arnie is stated as having a hamstring problem) Arnie will not be fit.
Yes... My TF business could've been better. Spent 8 points taking Alli, Maguire (who got 6 points each) and Choupo out for Lingard, Richarlison and Jones. I wouldve got 4 points more (as I wouldve played Depoitre and not Choupo) and not spent the 8 points. Ahhh well, you've gotta be fair and give people below a chance to catch up ;whistle ;run
My new challenger in the cup is ranked a little higher than me (and doesnt make TFs very often. Mostly one at a time. That alone makes me want to win of course)
I've got a stronger defence. Perhaps a little better midfield and I think a stronger all round 15 (more valuable by about 2M so I can afford a little more)
He has both Kane and Aguero up top (as opposed to my Kane and Firmino who could possibly be rested vs Swansea as opposed to Aguero who I doubt will be) plus a better GK
I'm tempted to bring in Mahrez for Richarlison and bin off Depoitre (which will really make my MF strong IMO All my defenders have ok games and even my weakest striker does)
The question...
If I leave my team the way it is and maybe substitute a GK in for just 1 TF, my 15 is comfortably stronger (he has a weak bench). Should I use my bench boost to counteract the threat of Aguero against Newcastle? Or should I save it for later in the season when there'll no doubt be a double GW?
Baz - my opponent did well last week but i think he may have gone dark - he has not made a transfer since week 17.
His bench are all out of action and he has a couple of weak replacements, I feel very comfortable with my first eleven - if I match his captain (Salah) I do not think that I will have a problem progressing.
The threat lies in him coming back to life and useing his wildcard, then It is up to the fantasy football gods, both the old and the new.
Will hopefully see you in the next round, been quite an exciting run ;wahoo
Theyve got 6 good players. The other 2 defenders are playing Man City and Utd plus Tadic playing Spurs. Unless they have a sudden urge to log back in and play the wildcard you've got a virtual bye! ;thumbsup
I so knew someone would steal Walcott from my draft grasp... I had a strong feeling it would be the person who got Lingard from me last week (that worked out well because my 2nd pick was Martial and he scored decent points) ;whistle
I picked up Barkley after reading he may actually play tomorrow. So I guess we'll see what transpires in a Walcott Barkley stand off. I cant be lucky like last week, can I? ;wink ( I was actually happy to get Martial in the end but wonder if Sanchez arrives who'll get less game time )

Then will see where i'm at what transfer business has been done then I may go for the 4-5-1 approach that some people have.
(please look away from that comment Suz)
That pretty much sums up my thinking.

Apparently I am in the bible so I assume my wildcard tendencies will also be?
Still, at least I didn't use my triple captain chip ;whistle
This is round seven, I am assuming that we are down to around 62,000 out of the original 4.1m that so bravely entered the arena for round 1
Feel a bit nervous about this week, I have a couple of injuries but am hanging onto my wildcard until some January transfers are fleshed out.
I have triple captained Kane - Now that Ogbonna has let him out of his pocket
;wink

It's just a game? Who said that??? ;puzzled
Back at you Chicago, hope you get through (only another 15 rounds to win it after that lol )
And I needed a clean sheet in the Budget League to ensure Antonio Valencia scored me a gazillion points
;wahoo
Oh, btw, so glad I brought in Lingard this week ;doh
