    I think it's a good move.

    I think it's a good move.

Fancy a run of sales of 'Ravel 15' for some reason... ;hmm
  • 14 if you believe his tweets ;ok
  • It's a gesture from the club (and a decent one, imo.)

Can't see any reason they should end up out of pocket over it. Isn't there always a caveat about getting players' names on the shirt?
  • I agree Grey. They could have just kept quiet and done nothing.

Making an offer to help some fans in this situation shows their understanding and appreciation.
  • He Looks really happy doesn't he .. mind you if you had to pay £500k back I
suppose it would take the smile off your face ;doh
  • I'm not remotely bothered with his level of happiness.

    He is dead to me.
  • Permission to have this thread closed and dead and buried come 1st Feb.
  • As far as I'm concerned Dimi or Payet are now considered swear words in my household and will not be tolerated ;wink
  • I believe in the future he should be referred to as the French one, so as not to cause any other upset.
  • Sir Hiss might be more accurate
  • Btw did anyone else hear Ray Wilkins today on SSN...
He was mad , in fact he went up
    In my estimations ;ok
  • Nice idea,

Permission to have this thread closed and dead and buried come 1st Feb.

    ;ok ;ok
  • I heard him Jay. Encouraging.
  • What did he say, jay?
  • It seems like our French friend has set a bit of a trend

Apparently Ulloa has tweeted that he will not play for Leicester again...

    ;hmm
  • Sunderland have been reported to have offered £3 m for Ulloa, now that is taking the mick. They have just flogged Van Aanholt for 14 million. Harry R reckons they are down and David M can do nothing to stop that happening.
  • van Aanho lts £14m is the total with add ons included. If they are paid in stages then they probably got the £3m up front.
  • What did he say, jay?

He said West Ham have done the best business so far in the window. Snodgrass feeding Carroll could be special.

    Or words to that effect.
  • Moyes talked about having limited funds 'with a capital L'.

I think he basically has whatever budget he can raise himself.
  • edited January 2017
Iron, so on that basis Sunderland may have offered £1 with the rest in add ons? ;biggrin
  • What did he say, jay?

He was so blunt, damning and totally disgraced with Payet's behavior , he without swearing slated him to the hilt and also slated the quality of the French League compared to the PL...
It was like he was a ex Hammer !
  • ^^^^
    He said this too. ;biggrin
  • Well I am glad the Payet saga is now over. I think £25 million is a decent return and we should be pleased to have him off our hands. He really was great last season, but as others have said, since the Euros he has been no better than any of the other players.

Good luck Dmitri, WHU now moves on.

  • Exeter, you wish him good luck. I on the other hand am unforgiving and hope his elastic breaks. ;biggrin
  • He says his stand off started a long time ago and my guess is it's been going on most of the season. He seems to think his behaviour was all in order and he regrets nothing.
