    That’s Palace pretty well safe now. Two wins from their next 13 will be enough. Still looks like Forest will be the only team we will be able to catch unless someone has a real meltdown.

    Palace’s first win in 13 - if they have a similar end to the season they’ll be in the mix if we keep up our form

    Only 8 points off Brighton the from they are in, only 6 points since start of December & chants for manager to be sacked

    There are teams that look worse than us but even yesterday we weren’t dominant. Burnley had 18 shots but luckily only 5 on target. We had 6 shots with 4 on target of which 2 went in.
    Against the better teams those stats will end up against us unless we stop inviting teams onto us for lengthy periods as we learnt against Chelsea. We have some big hitters coming up.

    Agree thorn, NES needs to stop giving teams an open invite to keep attacking as the better teams will just find it easier to grind us down. It’s harder for the defence to keep concentrating if they are continually being asked to defend wave after wave of attacks IMHO.

    They may have had 18 shots but most of them were pointless & non-threatening - we were comfortable defensively

    Point was Lukerz, they may have been pointless but they were in positions to have them because we were dropping back. Against the better teams they will create better opportunities.
