If we sent Igor back and up up not signing a replacement, that's a serious dereliction of duty

This is hardly something new with Sullivan at the reins though, is it?
  • I didn’t say it was!
  • Pardewalegend enters the chat lololololololol

  • Sky Sports at 18.17 "Axel Disasi's move to West Ham could collapse because of the defender's demands.

He has passed a medical but has already seen proposed moves to Spurs, Bournemouth and other clubs fall through in previous windows in similar circumstances."

Does he want a few billion if the Club stay up? WHU are in a desperate situation.
  • Apparently he wants assurances that he’ll be a starter. All he needs to do is watch some of our performances this year to know we’re desperate for anyone to play CB

Getting himself a free general check up
  • If he doesn't come then we should bill him.
  • Nuno’s rebalancing isn’t going well. It’s very front end biased.
  • The rumour going about is that on his way to the medical room he accidently brushed past Traore, who lost it a threw him the ground and began to eat his ears. He may not pass the medical now.

We may be desperate but he is hardly hot property and can't get a game for his own club.
  • Players fall out with managers, see JWP.
  • Doesn’t sound exactly brimming with enthusiasm does he.
  • So is Disasi deal done?
  • A lot of West Ham fans moaning, we’ve spent nearly £50m this window all the while balancing the financial risk of relegation
  • 🤷‍♂️

  • Just read EX said medical at hospital ,Media work set to go later .
  • Deal sheet in so club has till 9 pm uk time to get it done
  • It's shut.

    Hallelujah.

Palace and Wolves have agreed £45m plus £5m add ons "in principal" for Strand-Larsen

That seems like crazy money for someone who hasn't done very much.
£48, in the end. And they still have Mateta, after his move collapsed.

    Is this sensible financial management?
  • Yes MrsG £48 is when you think they were going to pay £50 million for him! =)
  • A done deal - I can't say I am enthused by a player who has not played for such a long time going straight into a relegation fight, but the only upside is that it's a loan and has not cost much. I would have liked an established centre back with leadership qualities but I have sympathy for the club as it must have been a hard sell to any of our targets at present.

I think we’ve had as good a window as we could, given our situation - let’s not forget we are not in the mix, we are currently 7 points (3 games) from being able to overtake anybody & get out the relegation zone. We are odds on to go down.

Pablo, Castellanos, Traore & Disasi; all the while reducing the size & wage bill of the squad & getting money in for Paquetá - in the event the worst does happen - is sensible. If we go down it won’t be due to this window, but the last two summer ones.
