  • And Villa score again.
  • Yep a shocking result if we lose this
  • Going down

They’ve barely had a chance outside of their goals

    This one's on you.

  • I agree Steve, especially with all the other teams (bar Leeds) miles away

You’ll be shocked if we lose to a team in the top three who’ve won 8 in a row? Disappointing, for sure. But shocking?
  • Wilson on for Magassa.

I will, yes, based on how poor they’ve been and us leading twice
  • Fair enough

This will be 9 in a row for them. We can only dream of runs like that but we may need one if we are to survive.
  • Magassa was playing well. I thought Paqueta should have come off.

If we end up with nothing from this it will be shocking, Villa haven’t turned up, we were leading twice & at HT, it’s nothing but a massive disappointment, can’t look at it any other way

Where are our 7/8 wins coming from? Nowhere.
  • Soucek to save the game in added time.
  • Why is Rodriguez coming on
  • Who do we have next .Oh right Man City
  • Man City next week. Another hiding
  • Soucek, Kante and Rodriguez on for Potts, Summerville and Paqueta.

Man City next week. Another hiding

It won’t be a hiding, but it will be another loss - probably 2-0 - & the games continue to run out

You’re very optimistic at 2-0. If a below par Villa can get 3 then City can easily beat that. Harlaand is probably already drooling.
  • At least we have been in this game some what, more so than others. But i think this is our peak of play in this league, not sure our ceiling of performance is above what we see now which is ultimately why we will go down, its a shame really as a lot of these youngsters with some experience under their belt could go far.
  • You have to win games to stay up - doing ‘alright’ & then getting the odd draw isn’t going to keep this great club up
  • We are an opposition manager’s dream. Three points just by turning up.
  • We are an opposition manager’s dream. Three points just by turning up.

Well that isn’t true - 1 loss in 6 - but we only draw when we do ok and we never win
  • What excuses will nuno and Bowen come up with this time
  • I mean that is a Gutting result, after bottling it v Bournemouth & Brighton, to throw that too after leading & Villa not turning up, let’s be honest

    Down
  • After they scored their 3rd we sadly offered nothing whatsoever.....Oh well....
  • It is a cruel game and outcome. We had 10 shots on goal and only 3 on target. Morgan had so much time and space for the second Villa goal. Worryingly, a gap opening up between the bottom three and the rest as Forest won. And next week we are away at City, a game worth winning
  • Worrying thing is if we kept this squad together I doubt they’d be good enough to get out of the championship, at least not at the top end.
They are spineless as soon as they go behind but we’ve now thrown leads away in three successive games so we should really be on about 7 or so more points at this stage.
We will go into the second half of the season needing about 25 points to survive but it looks impossible with this lot.
We managed it in 2007 but I doubt we can do it again.
I fear this is my last season of PL football.
