    Yeah he’s overcommitting himself and Salah’s too good and too quick, and keeps getting away from him. He might need to stand off a bit more.

    Sorry but IMO Scarles needs subbing at HT, today he looks out of his depth....
    I know he's playing against a brilliant player/team, but perhaps some experience is needed..IMO

    I feel the same tbh. I think we’d be best off with Coufal on the right and AWB looking after Salah.

    I think he just needs instructions to stop trying to beat Salah to things and just try to match him and slow him down. Let others come and help you. Give him at least 10 mins of the second half.

    I really like Soler off the ball - his pressing is great, he makes really clever runs, very industrious - but I really thought we were getting something different on the ball when we signed him

    Our midfield don’t seem to want the ball. AWB having to play the ball really quite far from him or try to escape a press quite often. There’s so rarely a short option.

    For their goal AWB was IMO just a guilty, he was nowhere to be seen...
    We've had a few very good chances, especially Mavropanos, but we're still in it, just gotta take a chance when it comes our way...

    Really surprised that a penalty wasn't given against JWP for handball there.

    Coufal on for Scarles, AWB switched to LWB.

    JWP driving me mad with the positions he takes up when teammates are on the ball. Never moves in to the space to give an easy option that could progress the game.

    He often seems to get played into trouble when he gets the short pass from the fullback, but I agree it’s because he’s taking up weird positions a lot of the time.

    If that handball wasn't awarded to us we'd have been very upset and probably moaning about an Anfield decision. Got lucky there for sure.
